Full charge ahead with Europcar
With Europcar, you get the latest electric vehicles, all less than two years old, delivering maximum battery performance. When you pick up one of our cars, you'll always drive away with a full battery and can return it empty. Your driving range will vary based on the type of electric vehicle, driving conditions, and selected mode. For example, in eco mode, you might achieve a range of 350 km in the city and 280 km on the highway. We provide both public and domestic charging cables, along with a free charging card that is usable at over 600,000 locations across Europe. As we like to say, "Refill on the go, recharge right where you are!" Charging options include domestic chargers, public charging poles, and fast chargers. Using a domestic charger gives you about 100 km of range in seven hours, while that’s two hours at public charging stations, and just 15 minutes with fast chargers. For home charging, we recommend the 10A setting unless you have an EV-specific socket like a Green Up, which can handle the 16A load. Avoid running other high- power devices on the same circuit to prevent tripping a fuse. Charging is quite straightforward. Open the flap on your EV, remove the socket cover, and plug in. At home, connect to the wall first, then the vehicle. At highway stations, the cable is attached to the pole. Swipe your free card to start and stop charging. The cable locks while charging for added security. Drive greener with Europcar and enjoy the convenience of an extensive charging infrastructure across Europe.
