Getting started

The MG4 Electric does not have a button to turn on and off the vehicle. To start the MG4 you just get in the driver seat and keep the key inside the car and then press the brake with your foot.

As it's an electric vehicle don't be surprised by the absence of noise

Press the brake pedal and turn the shift dial located in the center console into drive / D to start driving.

Remove your feet from the braking pedal, the vehicle will slowly start to advance still making no motor noise as it's an electric vehicle

Drive the electric vehicle as you would a traditional car, utilizing the accelerator pedal to accelerate and the brake pedal to decelerate or stop.

When you are in a safe and appropriate parking spot, keep your feet on the brake and shift the vehicle into 'Park' or 'P' mode using the gearbox.

Leave the vehicle and ensure all doors are properly closed

The car automatically turns off when you exit the vehicle, remove the key and close all doors. Lock the car with the key or press the button on the aoutside door handle.

The charge port is located on the left rear side of the MG4. To open the charge port cover, ensure the vehicle is unlocked, press the charging port door and release – the door will open to reveal the waterproof plug cover. Remove the plug cover to reveal the combined charging port.

Unplug & Go When charging is complete, unlock the vehicle, gently pull and remove the connector and return it to its dock. You can stop charging at any time by disconnecting the charge cable.
